Apparently race day temperatures were supposed to approach 87 degrees for the 2012 Boston Marathon, causing race organizers to offer a deferment for anyone who chose not to run in the heat.
Heat?

ReplyDeleteOK Jose, you were right. It actually reached 89 degrees at the 10-k point at 12:30, which does make a significant difference. Either way, that's mittens weather here in the desert southwest. (I'm kidding, by the way).
